My husband and I received the most wonderful xmas present. The Travel Book - a journey through every country by the Lonely Planet To date we have spent many hours browsing and reminiscing about our own travel adventures. The photography is breathtaking not to mention inspiring and it just makes me want to pack my bags and take off. It is times like these that I miss my carefree days of travel and I begrudge the mortgage that controls our lives. Enjoy the few snapshots I have included.

School Girl Reunion
This post is a little belated however I recently caught up with a bunch of girls I went to school with. Our catch ups are quite rare as three of us have children and all of us live in different corners of the country (Australia) and the world -
(pictured left to right)
Hayley in London
Megan in Ipswish
Me on the Sunshine Coast
Prue in Mt Isa
Renee in Sydney
However despite these geographical boundaries our friendships never waiver. Our conversations are just as silly and fun as always and our friendships continue on so effortlessly.
Monkeying Around on Xmas Day
I have just decided that I have a crazy child. Pictured here is Archie (17 months) on Xmas Day hanging off the guttering on our house. Without encouragement my husband lifted him up and Archie just grabbed hold of the guttering and didn't want to let go......... and he didn't until he finally had to due to physical exhaustion at which time my husband Gary caught him mid flight. What next?????????????????????
